what do i do if when i download files and go to the download path i cant find the files no where how can i fix this ?
when i download files i cant find them on my computer when the download starts i can see them but when they are finished they disrepair i tried to search for them on the computer with file path and start-up search and come up zero it i also up graded from Firefox 3.36 to 8 and the problem is still there

Go to TOOLS, OPTIONS, GENERAL TAB. Uncheck the box CLOSE WHEN DOWNLOAD FINISHED. Change SAVE FILES TO to a location where you can easily find them (IE desktop)
the CLOSE WHEN DOWNLOAD FINISH box is not checked
It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
