how do i disable the Switch-to-Tab feature? -- i need to open multiple tabs to the same site...

I need to keep multiple versions of the same site open at the same time and flip between them... Apparently the Switch-to-Tab feature won't allow that and my duplicated tabs keep becoming other webpages...

thanks... now the next question... does this install and take effect or do i need to turn it on via a menu function?
