Firefox 3.6.8 using 30 to 80% of CPU on a well resourced WIN XP SP2 machine. This happens also in safe mode and is intermittant in nature sometimes it lasts a few seconds other time while eve you use it the problem occurs. Does not seem to relate to recent software installs but perhaps from a failed Firefox update. I have disable My AV software and and all other non vital processes all to no avail == This happened == Every time Firefox opened == About a week ago. No changes to software of configuration that i know of.
