Why do my passwords delete on shutdown?
The last few months every time I shut down my laptop all my passwords are deleted.
I update almost every day.
My computer crashes very often, but usually restores when I click on offered restore button.

Hi, do you mean:
- Saved Logins - usually listed when you click the menu button, then Passwords
- Cookies - these are set after you sign in and store a session token that avoids having to log in to sites again
Firefox should never erase your saved logins, you would need to do that manually. If you use Firefox Sync, they should be backed up to the Sync cloud. You also could consider transferring them to a third party program like Bitwarden if it would be useful to share them across multiple browsers or devices.
Cookies are pretty easy to toss. That could occur if Firefox is set to clear history when it closes, and the cookies category is selected, or if some drastic event such as a power cut corrupts the database file that stores cookies, or if a cleaning program like CCleaner is set to clear browser cookies at startup or from time to time.
As a first step, if Firefox is set to clear cookies/site data/history when it closes, try turning that off. Keep the history and test long enough to determine whether that was the issue. Then we can discuss how to fine-tune your setup.
