Locked out of Facebook

Yesterday I was on Facebook when a dialog box popped up saying a picture of me had been posted and did I want to see the photo or dismiss. Clicked on dismiss which then sent me to a screen saying Apple had locked my account and I needed to contact Apple. Gave an 800 number not listed on Apple so I was not calling. The only way I could out message was to delete Firefox from my computer. When I restarted my computer and redownloaded Firefox I was taken back to the message saying my Facebook has been blocked. Is it possible Firefox has been hacked or is the problem on my computer. I have since moved to a different browser, and but would prefer to be able to go back to Firefox. Please help.

It appears that there is no solution to my problem. Is that correct? If so, I will not be returning to Firefox which is a shame. Up until yesterday Firefox has been my go to browser for years.
