help activate firefox free VPN on Mac desktop computer

So right now, from what I heard, the firefox free VPN is only being released slowly to random users. I am also a mac m1 user and do not see the vpn option yet. So I think you should wait for now until the VPN is accessible to all users.

In the meantime, from what I head, the free firefox vpn is only going to cover whats in the browser and not your whole system. If you want, you could also find alternatives vpns that can cover your entire device rather than just the browser.

Thanks for the good advise. Are there any VPNs that you recommend as being especially Mac friendly?
