Thunderbird Inbox no longer receiving emails
I recently lost incoming emails to my inbox. I am in the process of setting up a website and had to change the DNS settings to proceed with the website. Since then I have lost incoming emails to my Firefox email. Which also references the domain name. I'm not technical at all so I'm wondering what I need to try to get back to access. I'm wondering if it's something to do with the outgoing server settings ? Any help much appreciated, thanks.

From my own experience, I encourage you to work with your web mail host. They can help you in reviewing what their server and email settings are and can verify the the DNS.
Thanks for taking the time to reply, much appreciated :-) I spoke to the host and they confirmed some settings in the server settings, one seemed to be a difference to change the incoming popserver from 995 which seems to be the default, to 993. This made no difference unfortunately. I'll keep investigating, thanks.
Yes, 995 would be the norm, and I think you're right on that. Changing the DNS is a delicate task, one I avoid. If your domain registrar is different from the web host, I suggest contacting them. I presume you can send, but not receive? And you never shared any error messages. Why did you change DNS settings? I have no answer, but you have shared no details here. This seems to not be an email issue from your description, but a domain issue. Possibly a different forum where you could share explicitly what you changed in DNS and why, you might get better assistance.
