I accidentally deleted a Thunderbird folder that had saved emails in it (I thought the folder was empty) and now I am trying to retreive it.

I accidentally deleted a folder (that I thought was empty) which ended up having important saved emails in it. I thought I had transferred the emails to a new folder...but unfortunately they were still in the old folder. I tried everything I knew how to do but I have not been able to find the folder any where. 

  I still have Windows 10.  I'm dreading upgrading to Windows 11.

Information: Edition: Windows 10 Home Version: 22H2 Installed on: 11/4/22 OS Build: 19045.6466

I'm afraid to "go look for the Thunderbird information". I tried that once and then couldn't get back to where I was and had to start all over again.

If you having deleted trash folder in thunderbird, the folder can be restored. also, if you have not compacted trash folder, it still may be salvageable, although that process is a tar pit.
