What are you trying to recover?

well a few things, so my Bookmarks are gone fully all gone, so there is that so i need to recover that but im also asking is it possible to "un-update" it i don't know if that makes sense but ya

How did you choose the update or what options did it give you at that time?

so the way I updated was the "Online site fore the DMV" because my firefox was out of date so i pressed it to make it update and well here we are. should I use one of the downloads and try again ?!

so i choose to update firefox to the newest version and i am have a problem.

The problem here is once you update you can't reverse it now. And since there was no screenshot of what or why it said what it said this makes it harder for anyone to know what it did during the update or what the update said. So when you updated did it give you options or not?

It did give me Options some of them i said checked the boxes to and then after a few i decided to press the "skip button"

Something one should never do is skip important boxes to make sure you understand what's happening during updates.

sorry i didnt finish our conversation last night i was tired, anyhow even though I did skip the boxes I still want to get may bookmarks back.

so how would i get my bookmarks back ?!

During the update, did Firefox mention either a Refresh/Tuneup or creating a new profile?

If there was a Refresh, you would have an Old Firefox Data folder on your desktop with fresh data. If it was a new profile, you can try switching back to the old one using the steps in the first section of the following article: Recover lost or missing Bookmarks.

this is only "restoring/recovering" 1 day back which is the update and does not give me any of my bookmarks

All of the other folders have files that go back no further than your current profile? That's not promising.
