OAUTH2
I am using Thunderbird to access my Hotmail account. It has been working but now I cannot send emails. My research says I need to change the SMTP authentication method to OAUTH2 but that option is not in the drop down list. Thunderbird says it is currently up to date. How do I fix this?

Is the outgoing server set to smtp.office365.com once it is all you need to do is restart Thunderbird to see the authentication method you need.
