Dark mode intermittent
Has anyone else noticed since a couple of updates ago, that the dark mode is intermittent? And of all places, here on Mozilla's website, it doesn't work at all.

Hey Roy, Firefox doesn't have a built-in Dark Mode yet. It still needs a addon to make it work. So I'm guessing you have something like Dark Reader installed: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/darkreader/
Or maybe: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/turn-off-the-lights/
But when you say it doesn't work on Mozilla's sites, you're right about that. Mozilla decided it was too risky to let any addon change the look of their Mozilla sites in case the addon could change the content and show the user something different/malicious.
Although on this site I'm not too sure how big of a problem that would be. This website is simply too bright white for my liking. So with any luck one of these days I'll be able to change the mind of the people who made that decision for this site.
For other sites where Dark Mode doesn't work: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/quarantined-domains I haven't tested this but I bet banking sites and any website dealing with sensitive issues most likely do not support dark mode. Some example sites I would guess are Chase.com, bankofamerica.com, government websites, etc. So some of these could prevent dark mode from working.
Luckily more and more sites are building their own Dark Modes like DuckDuckGo, Youtube, Google, Github and Reddit.
