Sorting by date within the thread

When using threads in the email, the newest email is coming as the last/lowest one. This is a problem when the nr. of messages in the thread is big as we have to scroll down many lines. Can we reverse the order of the date soring within the thread so, the newest email comes to be the first one in the thread ? Thanks

Short answer is no. Perhaps look at the conversations addon

Threads are basically a hierarchical tree with the root or trunk being the first one is where the thread bagins. Usually but not always that is the first mail in the thread.
