Easy bug reporting

Andy_P

Would it be possible to implement a quick link for reporting bugs, freezes etc. and page rendering problems, directly in the 'hamburger' menu?

I'm seeing a lot of issues and it would be nice to be able to send a quick report to someone relevant straight from the app, rather than searching on Google for places to post it. A forum like this seems more suited to giving and receiving technical help rather than logging bugs, and github can seem very unfriendly to the average user.

Hi Andy

What are the issues that you are seeing, hopefully I might be able to help...?

The current biggest two are: 1. Blank white window when returning to a tab from another tab. URL bar says about:blank. Have to reload tab from history. 2. Various websites where functionality simply doesn't work in FF, so I have to switch to Chrome to complete the action (often seems to be on selection boxes or where a pop-up box is generated.

Would also like an easier way to feedback opinion on UI changes in new Firefox. EG poor tab handling, no on-screen tabs, new tab button in awkward place on screen.

Hi Andy

In respect of the first question, I have tried this and am not seeing this issue on my device. Have tried tried clearing the application cache? If you open the Android Settings app, select Applications, find Firefox and clear the cache (not data!), it shoudl improve application performance.

In respect of the second point, do you have an exmaple of an open site where this is the case?
