I migrated my Thunderbird environment from an old computer (with Thunderbird 68) to a new one (with Thunderbird 78). The message filter rule boxes are checked to apply the filter when run manually or when new mail arrives.

The filters run just fine manually, but they do not run when new mail arrives. Any ideas?

Tools > Run filter on folder does not work. Tools > Run filter on message does not work.

Tools > Message Filters > select a filter > Run Now does work.
