Lost passwords

I had to have my work computer reformatted. When they saved my Firefox for me, it saved my bookmarks but not all my passwords. I have log ins for many sites I use, so not having passwords is a very big deal. Is there a way...any way at all to find my passwords? I had the links along the top of my screen, for the sites I kept open daily and all I had to do is click and I logged in.

Please help if possible. When I told my Information Systems person I needed a password, while they had my computer, she was able to go retrieve one for me, so I know they were saved.

Maybe contact your IT department and ask them if and where they have saved a backup of your previous data.

Note that it is always best to backup your data to prevent data loss for cases like yours.
