Firefox Preview DoH DNS?

Hello,

Running Firefox Preview 5.1.1 (Build #21571852) I just want to understand the DNS process. If I block a domain via my local DNS resolver, it seems preview can still access the URL. If on the same device I open Chrome and try the same URL it it correctly doesn't connect.

From preview I can see the DNS requests it makes to my local DNS server so I was expecting it to also fail like chrome above. It doesn't seem like there is a DoH resolver built in like on the main Firefox build, but I just can't understand how the request is succeeding.

Firefox Preview does not support DoH. Firefox should be using the DNS settings from the phone. about:networking may provide some useful information about the network requests you are seeing.
