Can you sync bookmarks across various devices but then adjust each device?

I have several devices that currently use syncing for bookmarks and passwords. Each device has a different use, so I do not need for instance work-based bookmarks on my home game system. Can I delete the work bookmarks from the gaming system without deleting them across the other devices?

If I can, how do I go about doing that?

With sync, any changes on one member of the sync is shared with all others
