Hello! Firefox was upgraded to 57 version and after that facebook site does not work. OS -MS Windows 10 Professional x64

An error occurred during a connection to www.facebook.com. Peer’s certificate has an invalid signature. Error code: SEC_ERROR_BAD_SIGNATURE

I solved the problem.. My Avast antivirus contains a feature to scan encrypted connections, So I simply unchecked this service.

  1. Open the dashboard of your Avast application.
  2. Go to Settings > Active Protection and click Customize next to Web Shield.
  3. Uncheck the Enable HTTPS Scanning setting and confirm this by clicking OK.
