This is an intermittently recurring problem with Firefox, but not with IE or Chrome. A large black box pops up over the home page for CNN, preventing me from seeing the photograph, or from seeing and selecting links along the right side of the screen. I have reported this in the past. It seems to get fixed for a while, then it reappears when Firefox is updated. It happens immediately when the page is opened. It is forcing me to switch all of my browsing activity to Chrome, and to abandon Firefox, which I like better. Why can't this problem be fixed?

I see a Lego block icon at the left end of the location/address bar that a plugin is blocked.

You can click that icon to see what plugin this is about.
