Cannot sync firefox and kindle hdx - cannot find settings->auto data - is it possible to fix this?

I get a message that syncing is setup but not syncing on the kindle sync page where you select what to sync - if there is an automatic data setting on the kindle hdx I cannot find it where it is telling me to look in the message

If it has the same settings as Android, it will be in the Android Settings as well. This is the kindle documentation on how to sync. http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custome.../display.html?nodeId=200911660

I am experiencing this problem too.

It seems like Kindle Fire HDX has different settings with "common" android devices. I have already did what is stated on the kindle documentation on how to sync, but I am sure it is only for syncing kindle or amazon data, not for third party application such as firefox.

If anyone could provide alternative solution for this problem, it will be much help for me.
