Can't restore my previous session

Hi-

I usually keep around 12 tabs open with intention of getting around to reading them.

This morning a friend closed this window with all tabs before opening a new one. Now I can't retrieve the old tabs from my previous session.

How can I find them again? I haven't shut this (his) session down but the 'restore previous session' is greyed out. I own a Macbook. Version 30.0.

Thanks.

Hi icedog, It may still be in the profile folder in the sessionrestore.bak file, but as it has been a few days I will not get your hopes up. Restore bookmarks, passwords and data from an old Firefox profile and Restore previous session - Configure when Firefox shows your most recent tabs and windows may be helpful for next time.

If you have any other questions, we are happy to help.

If you use the Time Machine on your Mac then you can try to restore an older version of the sessionstore.js file.

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
