Why FF is resetting all tabs during an update, like the last one? The tabs cannot be restored automatically. It does not happen with each update...but it's annoying when you have several tabs. Thanks for taking that into account. Yves

We have noticed that none of our tabs are saved in Firefox anymore, and the settings require a specific number of saved tabs, which can vary from one session to the next.

Please allow users to select which tabs to save. For instance, a check box ☑ system would be very helpful.

I am no longer able to move tabs around. When long pressing on a tab it is only being selected, but I can no longer drag it to another position. In some rare occasions it's working, but only after several tries.

Hello, I've been using Firefox for several years because of all browsers it's the only one (I know of) that has a setting whether to open links in new tab or in new window. I want them opening in tabs. This has been quite alright until last week when I was suddenly shown a message that I was using an old Firefox version and was forced to create a new profile. I did that but ever since then links keep opening in new windows - even though I have found the relevant setting and ticked the box "Open links in tabs instead of new windows". With or without the box ticked, the only way to open links in new tabs is to simultaneously hold Cttrl and click on the link. I've tried all variations of this box and the next two, but no luck. This is really important for me. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

After the last Firefox update, the "Open previous windows and tabs" setting stopped working, and I need to use the shortcut "Ctrl+Shift+T" after each start to restore the previous tabs.

Is there any solution for this problem or there is a way to downgrade to a version where "Open previous windows and tabs" works correctly?

My current version is 152.0.1 (64-bit).

You changed the new tab behavior a few updates ago where new tabs don't get opened besides the current tab but rather at the very end of the tab list. And me having quite alot of tabs open forces me to scroll back quite along time to get back to my previous tab.

An option to revert to the old behavior would be neat.

I love vertical the tab view. Unfortunately, on one of my systems, vertical tabs to not render correctly. Groups are shown, but there are no favicons or titles shown (see attached image). The tabs are also not clickable. Any insight into how I could debug that would be amazing!

Hello everyone, Until a few days ago, Firefox version 140.12.0esr included a button to "Save windows and tabs of the current! session." Unfortunately, this feature is no longer available in the current version, 152.0.1. However, for many Firefox users, saving the windows and tabs of the current! session is absolutely essential. What options are there now to resolve this issue? I would appreciate any suggestions! If there is no way to restore this feature, I, too, will unfortunately have to switch browsers after 20 years as a Firefox user. Many thanks in advance for your help and any information. Give us an option to turn off the group tabs it's been a headache for me I don't want this feature so just give me an option to turn it off please 👍 In fact an option to turn any future feature off would be fantastic adding an off option on every feature should be a default feature there's a lot of things I would turn off and I'm sure there's a lot of future features I would turn off so just add an off switch for everything in the future 👍

Tab group name's width get maximized after dragging it to other place. Please refer to the third tab group from the image. If I restart the browser, the width become normal until I drag n drop it again.

When will the drag-and-drop link-to-open-new-tab feature be restored? Previous versions had this feature, which was very convenient, especially when wanting to open multiple tabs at once. Now it can only be done through the right-click menu, which is very user-unfriendly. I raised this issue a long time ago and never received a response. I hope this feature can be restored as soon as possible; otherwise, I will switch to Chrome.

Vertical tabs are a good idea. However to make a transition smoother special for those, like me, that have been using horizontal tabs for a life time (I was a Netscape user), can I suggest that the new tabs come on top instead of on bottom?

I could write a long motivation for that, user trend, psychological, etc, but I am sure you got the point.

Can the quantity of tabs ever get so large that finally one more tab wont open? What are the max count of tabs recommended, and when should they be removed to start over?

I have a suggestion for UX, UI in Android version. Like my attached pictures below, please put 3 buttons on the top (circled in red highlight) to the bottom to help us easy to click since then our thumb can't reach from the bottom to the top. Thank you.

Dear forum, I had to reinstall Firefox and now a tab opens for every request/every time I open a new page. I don't want it to be like this, but only open a new tab upon explicit request. Where can I change this setting? Thank you, Sirpa
