Hi, so since around update 153.0 i've had this persistient issue of whenever I am forced to re-open firefox (whether by an update, a restart on my computer or a crash) it begins to persistiently quit responding and will never work until i close it. After a LONG while of just trying to open it again, it begins to run, but it also signs me out of a good handful of things, so I end up spending 20+ minutes signing in on everything (considering 2fa on some of those things). This used to just happen with the big number updates, but tonight my computer had to restart and I experienced the same thing happening with firefox just loading and loading. I tried letting it sit and of course it did nothing, I attempted to use troubleshoot mode and there was virtually no difference (it was still frozen until i closed it). The only things I haven't done are the nuclear options of refreshing or reinstalling firefox (mainly because I have a lot of extension settings I would rather not lose because I don't remember all of it). I am writing this on a mobile tablet right now because my computer is still experiencing this persistiently, no matter what i do now, and it's becoming annoying because of the fact that i do have to sign into everything EVERY TIME now it seems. Extra information about my settings to answer some of the "do you have (this setting) on?" or other functional questions: -I keep cookies on and stored on the device -I have hardware accelleration off -I had several extensions on including ublock origin, but again, troubleshoot mode (which disables all extensions temporarily) had the exact same result of firefox hanging. Disabling certain extensions manually also didn't work. -i can't provide exact technical info on my pc since im not on it rn nor really want to deal with fighting it any longer tonight to write this but my computer is on the lower-end, but can still run and does run things like discord/steam fine; firefox started persistiently freezing after a fresh restart of my computer, and I didn't open anything outside of firefox and related firefox modes (ie private browsing) attempting to troubleshoot today. -last time i signed back in before it kept crashing constantly was 4 days ago I really hope this explains my issue well enough and I hope someone can give some advice on my next step forward. I'm becoming a little desparate for answers since i don't know how long this goose chase of constantly re-logging into everything the services i'm logging back into will tolerate, as one of my emails is now blocking my main 2fa method for some reason, so I'm a little worried.

I am a first time user to Firefox. I want to communicate with someone about a project.the process i took was that I downloaded Firefox on my Laptop, gone to sheet and opened it up in Fire Fox, all god so far. Now my question is how do I speak to him about this issue so that he can see the code and direct me further from that point on.Fire Fox appears to have no 2nd screen or split screen for me to do this

Why for VPN yet noth any way to keep it on, please? Why needeth turn it on manually without ability keeping it on, please? Why for noth compatiblities other VPN on smaller than netbook mobile devices, please? Why for defentions/defendtions (defending) anonymity for nigh a score ½ yet noth many compatibilities for smaller/handheld computers, please? Thank yiz in advance. God[s] bless/speed!! I downloaded a file with a .zip extension from TikTok. Firefox downloads it without the file extension and with an incorrect name. I downloaded the same file using Chrome and Safari, and both browsers downloaded it with the correct file extension and filename.

Not a question.

I needed to file a bug report so I went into settings to figure out what version I was on, only to be met with this useless view (see attached).

"About Firefox" contains no information whatsoever about Firefox. Who made this choice, and why? How is "let's show nothing at all on this page" a decision a product has made?

Hello team,

            I've implemented passkey (webauthn). All browsers working fine along with firefox for regular passkey But we implemented ROR (well-known/webauthn) for cross domain using rpid (https://web.dev/articles/webauthn-related-origin-requests). Only this is failing for cross domain passkey in firefox where other browsers working good. I am using firefox version 140.14.0. I know its bit old but just asking does it support? We've some limitation so not able to test latest version of firefox. I am getting below error in console

"A resource is blocked by OpaqueResponseBlocking."

Any help regarding this will be appreciated.

My phone is acting strangely and I am running out of storage space have tred to install a antivirus system which is meant to be free but keep getting redirected to a website that is asking me to pay £1.99 a month but if it is meant to be Free why am I being asked to pay and have to give my bank details I am very worried and dont know what to do Can you please help me and advise me what I should or can do to protect my phone. Please advise me what to I should do next If you can resolve this Youself that would be great because I am no good with technology and can't really follow instructions due to the fact that even the simplest of instructions for me is extremly difficult to follow but because I am talking to someone or something that overestimates my ability on a false assumption I am the left in a situation that for me is almost impossible to resolve I am not unintelligent But that is not the problem my ability with technology is always overrated simply because the starting point of my assumed knowledge is based on something that knows the subsect matter inside out but does not seem to grasp or understand this scenario or indeed my situation and its not because it is unintelligent either the point I am trying to make here I simply can't do what the person or A.I. Assumes I can do I know what the problem is because the problem is because I am at the lowest level of computer or technology learning the best analogy I can give is simply this I am like a learner driver with zero knowledge of how to drive and the instructor whose knowledgle of the subject matter is not in doubt. But, what the real problem is because the instructer is trying to teach me thing's that are far to advanced I am doomed and destined to fail I dont lack ability or Intelligence and clearly niether does the Instructor the problem for me simply lies in the level of my ability to grasp concepts in a subject matter I know nothing about is being overrated every time it is both frustrating and upsetting in equal measure but I cant solve the prolem even though I know what it is Its like trying to teach a child how to understand the alphabet, you simply have to pitxh any level of instruction to suite the individual if my level of comprehension is A.B.C. and I am being asked to decipher the Egyptian Hidroglifics without the Rosseta Stone ( or even assuming) (Once again wrongly of course that even if I did have it) it simply would not make a blind bit of difference either way. But please just dont overrate it please Thank You. its also important for you to know that I am classified as "Severely Disabled" due to a variety of illnesses. Being Classified as "Severely Disabled" does not mean I am Stupid but it also should not be overestimated either. Blood Clots on my Lungs and will take Apixiban for the rest of my Life. Arthritis in my spine problems with my feet ( and I have to wear Special Insoles, I have CTS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) in both hands and cant type either to Fast or too long, I have weight problems and am classed as Morbidly Clinically Obese but I am now on Mounjaro and its it's working, so Yippee for that, and finally I also suffer from mood swings and severe depression with what is classed as Suicidal Ideation. But other than that the rest of my life is absolutely peachy. So to conclude as mr peeps said and so, to bed. Thank you for taling the time to read this Tomb but Joking Aside (For the Record I Do genuinely have and suffer from all the things Ive Mentioned) I hope you can help me with the issue mention I dont have a problem with all the other stuff its called "Life" but I love mine and change and adapt and get on with it because I am in control of that,( or at least most of it most of the time so that helps) as for the technical stuff I am totally lost, but as an ex Musician and Driving Instructor I could still help to improve things for people who are both Learning and actually Teaching people about Technology not because I understand the sibject matter but mainly because I dont insight is a wonderful thing and Hindsight is the realization of the mistakes everyone makes and Hopefully learns from it. I reported this to you by last Friday but I have received no response so far. After reporting to you, I tried all possible trouble tests and checks, then took following steps. 1 - I deleted my copy of Thunderbird from my PC 2 - I loaded a new copy of Thunderbird - all went well 3 - But situation remains, the program opens, reacts very slowly to commands but I can not get into any functions. Thunderbird does not show any emails, nor can I read older emails stored on my computer 4 - I ask you kindly for speedy help, my email function is fully down. Yours - Jarl Jaatinen - Finland

Suddenly since Friday 21.08.2026 morning every single person in our company started to call the IT department that their Thunderbird client is printing out blank pages (white pages) instead of attachments from emails.

What is happening -> Employee gets email with PDF attachment -> clicks to open it in thunderbird print preview -> prints -> blank page comes out.

What works -> Downloading the PDF and printing it. Opening the PDF in any other browser than Thunderbird and printing it.

No settings or updates were changed and it's a big issue affecting multiple computers.

What I tried doing -> Trying different printer (No fix), Resetting print settings in thunderbird (No fix). Trying other PDF attachments from older emails (No fix). Looking at print settings in windows (Which I didn't change since it only doesnt work in Thunderbird).

Problem is that on thunderbird in my office, This doesn't happen. We have the same versions and settings.

I tried opening the error console while opening the PDF and on computers where it doesnt work it shows me an error with along the lines of "This document is open in compability mode due to **** header <doctype html>" Something like that but i would have to check again.

I don't get this error on my personal PC.

the new Firefox was delivered without my permission. It is ugly in the green frame. The bookmark tool bar is nowhere to be seen. I cannot work without the old toolbar as No I have to find passwords and addresses for about 12 VERY IMPORTANT SITES I NEED EVERY DAY.

A few days ago I sent emails and did not see the usual "Saving to Sent (IMAP)". Instead it said something like saving to Sent folder. That's fine, but the emails didn't appear in my Thunderbird Sent folders. I downloaded Thunderbird to see if my version was obsolete. Still no emails in Sent folder. The internet said I could delete my Sent folder, and Thunderbird would re-establish Sent folder. It did not. I can still see my old emails in my Local Thunderbird sent mail, so I deleted about 100 old emails in case the folder was too full. Still, the new emails I was sending did not appear. I checked with a few recipient people and they told me the email go to them. I have tried all the "solutions" I can find. What else can I do to see copies of my outgoing emails.?
