I found Bug 2082211, "Windows: new Canadian time zone IDs (Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba) not mapped; host time zone falls back to Etc/GMT±N Status VERIFIED / FIXED, target 160 Branch. It's exactly your case, reported 2026-10-15 and fixed within days. Sorry for the post - please ignore

Thunderbird gets it's time information from the operating system - it's not a Thunderbird issue. Another user recently reported what sounds like the same or similar symptom. You can read how they resolved it here:
