Unable to send emails
I haven't had an issue sending emails, up until about 2-3 weeks ago. Now all of the sudden out of the blue I can't send them (or reply). When I cancel the request to send it says
Please verify that your Mail & Newsgroups account settings are correct and try again.
This has never popped up before and I don't use newsgroups. We did just change to Time Warner from Insight just recently.
I haven't tried getting my smtp password reset yet, but not sure how to go about that.

This issue has been resolved by the originator of the post. None of the suggestions offered did the trick. I deleted my account from T-bird and started over again. This did the trick

Thunderbird Menu > Tools > Account Settings
- Left side down > Outgoing server (SMTP)
- check your email SMTP
- For Gmail - "smtp.googlemail.com" and port "465"
- For Yahoo - "smtp.mail.yahoo.com" and port "465"
- For Outlook.com - "smtp-mail.outlook.com" and port "587"

This happened overnight, time warner changed something. And now Thunderbird deleted my entire inbox. Sending me to the setup page is useless, I need help! Windows live mail can't see Thunderbird to import my address book or I would simply switch.
I can still receive mail as always
