Firefox crashes and gives script unresponsive error

Issue: JavaScript error along with hanged mozilla for some time frequently. Reason i found out was crashes in mozilla that can be seen in pending folder . During the time mozilla is freezed crash reports are being generated in path C:\Users\my\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\pending. Only 1 or 2 reports are transferred to path:C:\Users\my\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted.

Tried Reset Firefox to its default state, starting in safe mode, starting with add ons disabled, but no advantage..Also scanned for malwares. few malwares removed with malware anti bytes, a redirect virus removed. using spy hunter.

If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that have a "bp-" prefix:

  • bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

I had installed firefox 21 when the problem tarted coming. Then i had to revert back to firefox 20, now crashes are coming in only pending folder. only few can be found in ubmitted folder. I found 2 crashed in submitted folder which are as above.

I do agree that i had removed some malwares from pc including a redirect virus.

Those are crashes by the plugin-container and the Flash plugin . You can check for problems with current Flash plugin versions and try these:

  • disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

Issue was resolved by installing flash player.
