On Funnyjunk and Hotmail I cannot use certain functions. This started happening about a week ago for reasons I can't seem to unveil.

With Funnyjunk I cannot comment, reply to other user's comments, or delete/edit my content.

With Hotmail I can't access or delete messages. Or affect them in any way really. Checking the "Select All" box doesn't highlight all of the messages either.

No error messages pop up and nothing else happens, the features simply do not function, as if a line of code was broken.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox twice now, cleared all my history and cookies and still nothing I have no idea what to do =/

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.
