I want to set a certain webpage as my home page but each time I restart my computer the home page defaults to Google?

I have tried all of the suggested methods to get my homepage to remain as Yahoo. It worked for 1 day but the next day it reverted to opening Google as the homepage. I have tried the Searchreset add-on several times and it has simply stopped working. I have also uninstalled Mozilla completely and reintalled it with no luck. Have any suggestions as to how to keep my homepage as Yahoo permanently?!
