my widgets were all working on my blog. Then it may have been when Firefox asked me to choose a password. They no longer worked. I disabled all add-ons,reinstalled Firefox and the widgets still no longer open.

Can you post a link to a public page that doesn't require authentication (log in) to access it?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
