When I place my cursor pointer on functions on Firefox 7 and left click nothing happens.

Examples:-I go into my bank account. To leave I should sign out. I click on sign out. Nothing happens. I enter a website and place the pointer on Web Search and click. Nothing happens. I go into any eMaill account and can read mail but when I place pointer on delete and click, nothing happens. There are Dozens of other malfunctions of this nature. I have tried re-installing Firefox but this does not help. I have none of these problems on IE or Chrome. I am about to permanently uninstall Firefox. Help Please

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
