Recently, all pages VERY slow to load (home page 1 min+ !!)

Recently - certainly since last FF update - all web pages are painfully slow to load. Even my Google homepage can take well over a minute. Kaspersky full system scan says no viruses, trojans or malware detected. Even after page loads, it can take up to another half minute before I can interact with the page (e.g. use the scroll bar). It's driving me mad! Any suggestions highly appreciated. Many thanks.

kaspersky url advisor 11.0.2.579 is the problem, after i disable this (extra / extession) everthing is ok now.

Thanks so much for taking the trouble to reply. However, I haven't the faintest idea how to go about disabling the kaspersky url advisor 11.0.2.579 or even how to locate it. I have Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 installed, but can find no mention within it of a url advisor, so I'm still stuck with this horribly frustrating problem.

I have been having this problem for a couple of weeks now. Slow start up page! It takes a good 45 seconds to load, and then is blank and white for another 12-30 seconds. I do not have Kaspersky. I am running Microsoft Security Essentials and Prevx. I have ran scans, and they say I am bug free.

I have been to many forums and firefox "Help" pages, and nothing (I can understand anyway) has helped! This is crazy! Can someone help?
