Unable to login with user name (GTEFederal Credit Union). IE works ok. As soon as I enter username it is cleared and nothing else happens.

Went to FIREFOX. Tried to login to the GTE Federal Credit union. Typed in my user name and hit enter. User name was erased and space remained blank. Used Internet explorer and had no problems. Called GTE FCU and they had no problems and recommended to check the settings.

Any ideas out there????

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
