Firefox won't open from the icon on the desktop. A box appears saying Firefox is already running, close it. There is no way to close it, because I can't get to it. The task bar shows that it is not running.

I posted a similar problem yesterday.. there are no open Firefox processes, so how are we supposed to "close it"?!!

there haven't been any responses to my post so far :-[
