Mozilla keeps freezing with Program not responding
For the last four days every time I go to clear my history,"Program not responding" with a white a line at the top of the page with a message to close program or wait for response. I have tried restarting my computer with no change. If I close the program and restart I don't see a change. It seems to be intermittent. Please find out what is causing this glitch .

Noting you are using Windows, did you do a [Restart] not a [Power off]
Also have you checked task manager to see a) what resources are being used and b) for any hanging process
Cheri, please update — there's a fix today: firefox.com/firefox/153.0.4/releasenotes — if you open your "About" window to check for updates, it should already be offered to you there.
I'm also getting this. It started after the update.
In that case you're facing something else. Please open a question of your own so the troubleshooting data gets captured, or file a bug directly if you have steps to reproduce / can reproduce consistently incl. from a fresh profile repeating certain steps from clean slate. Thanks!
