Thanks for everyone who helped with my previous question,I forgot to say that my bad. Any ways like the title says,when i try to change my background image (homepage), it freezes. Help please.

I have 2 or 3 dedicated groups of tabs: email, work, and shopping. Each contains about 3-4 sub-tabs (or whatever the preferred terminology is). When I closed the browser on Friday, everything was normal. Imagine my surprise to start up Firefox this morning only to discover that NONE of the tab groups exist anymore. And of the 12-15 tabs total that should have been open (and have been every single time I've logged into Firefox for the past few months), only 2 were open. What happened? Is there a way to make my preferred setting actually stick? I do not want to go through this every single day.

I recently got an update for windows 11 and now when I open firefox as many as 10 firefox browsers open at the same time. I have to close the ones I don't want or leave them in the background. I don't know if this was caused by the update or if it is a problem with firefox?

               I regularly use the full-screen mode in your browser. However, I have noticed that full-screen mode gets automatically disabled every time I restart the browser.

This is becoming extremely inconvenient and frustrating because I have to manually enable full-screen mode every single time I open the browser. Repeating this process again and again is a real hassle.

I would like to request that you either fix this issue or introduce a new setting that allows users to keep full-screen mode permanently enabled, even after restarting the browser. Please consider adding an "Always Keep Full-Screen Mode Enabled" option so that users do not have to activate it manually every time they launch the browser.

I hope you will consider this feedback and provide a permanent solution to this issue.

I am experiencing a serious issue when trying to sign in to my two personal Google Accounts using Firefox.

Both of my Google Accounts are currently locked, and despite trying Google's recommended account recovery steps multiple times, I have been unable to regain access.

Google only offers SMS verification, and unfortunately, I am not given any alternative verification methods.

I have tried signing in using Firefox, as well as familiar devices and locations, but I still cannot access either account.

The affected accounts are:

1. [redacted from public] gmail.com 2. [redacted from public] @gmail.com

I would like to know whether there is anything in Firefox's settings, privacy protection, security features, or browser configuration that could be preventing Google from recognizing my device or allowing me to complete the sign-in process.

Could you please help me understand whether Firefox might be contributing to this issue and suggest any troubleshooting steps?

I understand that Google controls its own account recovery process, but I would appreciate any advice or assistance from the Firefox community.

When 'm working to upload an image, for example, into an article I'm publishing, let's say on LinkedIn, as I change directory (folder) from the default "Desktop," let's say to "Documents" or "Pictures," the process fails, the open window crashes (closes), and the message shared in the attached screenshot below is displayed: "The Windows file-dialog has crashed. No file or folder could be selected."

I thought that the last update to the browser, which was received about a week or so ago, will solve the problem, but it has not.

For the record, I have run all the diagnostics and optimization software (Command Prompt types, and manufacturer software types) to no avail: all report that there are no issues with the OS. Moreover, I only have this issue with Firefox.

Last but not least, on a parallel issue: for decades I've shared feedback on the crappy spellchecker. You have integrated AI in your software, but still offer a crappy rigid spellchecker. For the love of all that is holy, can't y'all fix that problem?! I'm sure that your AI can do that job!

`This happens every other day. I am signing into yahoo mail and I get a message after entering my user name saying something went wrong. If I follow the steps it makes me change my email password and recovery steps. I am changing my password every other day. If I use chrome I don't have a problem. I have a passkey using firefox and it appears and I click on it and the mail opens.

Sometimes several times in a row.

And it's getting tiresome.

I have the same setup on several machines and only one machine will crash frequently.

Regarding FF v157:

- Mozilla have changed the Graphical user interface of Firefox without asking for consent or providing a clear way to revert back to the old interface, yet again. - They have made changes to the settings, so pre-installed search engines can only be toggled off and NOT removed... - There are a bunch of themes now pre-installed that can't be removed.

I think pushing a change without over way to revert, is why I a lot of people don't donate to the Mozilla foundation

once again, you change shit whether people like it or not... when I open firefox in private mode, the default opening tab is "about:privatebrowsing"... I have no fucking need of this tab - does anyone??? please provide step-by-step instructions as to how to eliminate this useless piece of shit...

I use the french version of firefox 159.0 with build-in VPN.

I take the Canada for the country and when i try to connect to my facebook account the 2 factor ask at my phone if its me who connect from 'Iran country'.

This morning it was from 'Shahriyar, Iran'

It like that everytime i want to connect to my facebook account from firefox 159.0 with build-in VPN.

Why ?
