setting automatic updates to firefox
I would like to enable automatic updates for Firefox, but have not been able to do so. Please advise.

And you are managing your enterprise deployments, or are the end user of said managed rollout?
Is this specific to your Linux platform? (You might need to share a little bit more about what's the source of the installation, how are updates managed currently etc.)
I installed Linux Mint after having the drive cleared for a clean install. I went to the Mozilla website and ran the installation from there. I did the same with Firefox. It's Linux Mint 22.3 - Cinnamon 64-bit. Thank you for your assistance.
So in case this is not IT–managed setup and you're free to set up your packages as you wish, the best way is probably in Install Firefox on Linux the steps to plug in the official Mozilla DEB repo into your APT and use that to manage the package updates.
