Can I change the directory where Firefox stores the add-on xpi files? Our company's IT dept is constantly deleting or corrupting them. Right now it's: C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\riqfpq8g.default-release\extensions If I could just add a folder and tell firefox where the files are, this might solve that problem. Any ideas?

If your IT is doing that then you need to talk to them about what's happening since they control what install and is used.

How are they deleting or corrupting them? If you type or paste about:policies into the address bar and press Enter to load the Enterprise Policies page, are there any Extension-related policies listed on the Active panel (ignore the Documentation panel)? If so, it may be a losing battle because Firefox is designed to honor those policies pushed out by IT.
