Hi, occasionally email appear as they do in the attachment, and I cannot read my email. Happens with either Gmail or Outlook accounts, please advise what to change in the settings. I would be grateful for any help. And would love to continue to use Thunderbird. Thanks

Okay, just a hunch: Check Tools>Preferences>Fonts&Colors and click the Advanced button and UNCHECK the box to allow messages to use other fonts.
