When I open Fire Fox I get a message to "Login to this network" before I can access the internet.

Why do I get this and how can I remove it if not needed?

Hi, this is a bug which should be fixed in Firefox 85 (scheduled for release on 26th January.) https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1666072 but to correct it now, type about:config into the address bar, press Enter and accept any warning, then copy and paste the following into the search box network.captive-portal-service.enabled Now on the search result, click the Toggle button at the right-hand end to change from True to False. You may need to restart Firefox to implement the change.

More - see under the Network Detection heading in How to stop Firefox from making automatic connections.
