I've been trying to support the underdog all of my life. I've been buying AMD products since ... maybe the early 00's? Some of us know of Google's dark money funding too, so I don't want to use Chrome. But, after at least 14 years I've finally had to leave Firefox because of the lack of support of LastPass on Android.

It's very simple, I am doing what I'm supposed to be doing with passwords yet your stupid browser for Android doesn't support LastPass. Do you really expect me to use different browsers between my Android phone and Windows 10 PC? No, I need a browser that can sync bookmarks and use Last Pass. So fracking simple!

Get it fixed and I'll come back. Even Edge gets this wrong. It's so simple - we need our browsers to work between and mostly the same way on the platforms we use.

So you're saying 3 days ago it actually started working? What I'm getting at is as I browse to a website on Android and I try to login LastPass simply doesn't autofill. It works perfectly in Chrome and so that's why I finally switched. I hate Google like I ate every massive company so believe you me I don't want to be using Chrome.

Okay, now I see what potentially might be the difference here. I am using Firefox Beta which I thought was the equivalent of quantum on the desktop. I'll try the standard version.

Crap, wasted nearly an hour. I installed the Add On but had the same issue as others, after hitting the login button in the Last Pass add on, I just get a spinning circle. I found out in LastPass' forums that as of January 2018 they've discontinued support. God bless it! So, I'm stuck using Chrome. Oh well, I'm all about monopolies (sarcasm). Is it you guys that needs to enable the Android Oreo autofill API for the browser?

"We’ve made the decision to retire LastPass for Firefox Mobile (only available to Android users) on January 31, 2018. If you are currently using this version, you can continue to use it but you will not receive any feature or security updates. Moving forward, LastPass is committed to supporting the Android platform through the new Android Oreo autofill API, as well as the original accessibility autofill service. In the short term, we recommend you use another Android browser, such as Firefox Focus or Google Chrome."

Hi

This looks more like an issue with LastPass than with Firefox for Android. I recomend that you contact the LastPass team for help with this issue.

I don't know why I bother. It doesn't matter whose support forum you post in, they always pass the buck. Look, LastPass is saying they're no longer supporting some stupid old legacy add on. It's not needed when the autofill API works with all kinds of apps and obviously Chrome. If one browser maker can do it you guys can too. Modernize this aspect and maybe I'll come back. I simply can't use a browser anymore that doesn't support some kind of password manager. Believe you me, I didn't want to do this but I use up to five devices: work laptop at work, my gaming PC, my notebook at home, my phone, and my new Samsung tablet running Windows 10. With Chrome, every one of these devices supports LastPass.
