Using Firefox on a surface pro 4. If I tap an input field at lower part of the screen with touch or pen, the on screen keyboard will cover what i'm typing. In edge and chrome, the page will shift so i can see the input field. Does firefox has a hidden setting to enable this?

Mouse to the top of its window, hold down the right button and move it out of the way. You may also be able to reduce its size via its options.

This doesn't solve the problem, that's what i'm forced to do now. Move around the touch keyboard. Firefox should have the same functionality as Edge and Chrome. When the touch keyboard is blocking, the page should shift up, so you can see the input field.

If this feature doesn't exist in a setting, maybe it should be suggested to firefox.

You are absolutely right - otherwise : what's the point of having an onscreen keyboard  ? ! Doing as suggested by FreMcD might be an excellent idea.

In the mean time : Maybe this add-on will do what any onscreen keyboard should do :

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/comfort-on-screen-keyboard-/

See what it says on their homepage :

http://www.comfort-software.com/on-screen-keyboard.html

Worth a try - although : it's not free ......
