Cannot perform search on firefox, unless i go directly to google.com or bing.com. ddg is my default search engine, every time i search, the following error displays "Cannot perform search on firefox, unless i go directly to google.com or bing.com. ddg is my default search engine, but cannot find this page keeps showing up."

My internet connection is live. no problem surfing. just cannot perform any searches from search bar unless i go directly to an search engine's site.
