For no reason, every time I open my Firefox Mozilla browser, I have music playing for about 5 minutes. That makes listening to any article on the page impossible until the music stops. I'd like it turned off so I don't have to mute it all the time.

What are you using as your HomePage? Is there a player on that page?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
