If you are indeed using Firefox 48.0 on Windows 8.1 then you may be running Firefox in Windows XP compatibility mode.

In your More system details on right of post the NT 5.1 is WinXP. User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; WOW64; rv:48.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/48.0
