why does not gmail appear as it should, when opened in firefox
Hello, when I open gmail in Firefox - and only then, in Firefox - it appears with initially a doubled page - a page that says something about whether a conversation is starred or not - behind the in-box page. It disappears after a few seconds, but I think it is odd, and if it could be fixed, that would be nice. I have read a complaint by another user, who got doubled in-box pages, and the answer he got, was: "That is something for Gmail to address". But that is only half of the story, since the problem only occurs when browsing in Firefox. I can make only a bitmap file to show you what it looks like, and apparently I cannot send this. Pity. Actually, I do not expect you to be able to solve this little problem, but I like to stress that it is not just a Gmail issue. It is about how FF and Gmail get along.

Thank you, Edmeister, but this does not solve the issue. Logged in, the inbox page remains being accompanied by this background page. The time I need to press the buttons you mentioned equals the time the page needs to dissappear of its own accord, and next time I open gmail, it is there again, and again only for 3 seconds or so.
By the way, I clicked the link in your e-mail that read:"This doesn't solve my problem" Would that have been enough as an answer? Did the message reach you? And other readers, passing by? I cannot see that it did.
