I am not able to surf with firefox browser. I have tried all the trouble shooting steps mentioned in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can, but still it seems not working. I have uninstalled and re installed the browser for multiple times. I have checked the firewall which is also fine.

Cor-el...thanks for your response....the problem was with my firewall, it was not updated. Once it got updated I was able to use firefox.

Did you try to remove all rules for Firefox from the firewall?

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
