previous versions of Thunderbird had provisions to add signatures with either written or image content. This version has no provisions . Can cut or copy and paste, but this takes time.

What is 'bet2'?

previous versions of Thunderbird had provisions to add signatures

What previous version exactly? And what did you do that your version has changed? What are provisions? Are you talking about an add-on?

It is a wonder you got your accounts. We are being forced to use separate profiles for beta and release versions starting with V68

i have no idea what you are talking about. Apparently I should be satisfied with copy and paste?

Presumably you are talking about something in "Account Settings".

What exactly do you mean by "provisions to add signatures with either written or image content."?

How did you end up with the beta version in the the first place? Note, before 69.0 beta2 was 69.0 beta1.

So whatever 'provisions' are lacking in 69.0 beta2 most likely were missing in 69.0 beta1 as well.

You still haven't explained what 'provisions' means.

And what version were you using when your 'provisions' worked?

I don't really know what version. Have used Thunderbird for at least 10 years and it has been automatically upgraded since then. remember we use to have "stationary: at one time. Question: Any idea why spell check doesn't check when replying or forwarding? I can live with copy and paste and not waste anymore of your time. Thanks for your troubles. Jim

Most applications you can get the version number at Help > About.

I think the stationary addon is being picked up by someone.

If spell check isn't working that it's likely caused by an add-on. Try starting Thunderbird in safe mode.

It seems to me the signature item should be investigated because it has potential impact for other users. So can you please help us understand it??
