Usually people complain everything looks too small :)

On Win10 OS under 'Settings' > 'Display'

What is your screen resolution? For example: 800 x 600 will make everything on the desktop massive. The more you increase the number of pixels, the smaller items on desktop, windows, fonts etc will appear. I'm using 1920 x 1080 on a wide screen and all fonts etc appear perfect.

On Win10 there is also another setting called 'Scale and Layout' which can effect the size of text etc. Anything higher than 100% can also increase the font size even if the resolution is at highest setting.

I actually downloaded from here: https://download-installer.cdn.mozilla.net/pub/thunderbird/releases/60.8.0/win32/en-US/Thunderbird%20Setup%2060.8.0.exe

Is this okay?

PS: I don't want to mess WinOS settings, I just want to fix TB.

It would be helpful to understand what you are seeing. I've never come across anyone complaining that Thunderbird is too large in font for the entire UI. So there is something particular on your computer. This means I need to understand your current setup.

Computer: Q: What computer screen resolution are you currently using? Q: Is 'Scale and Layout' as previously mentioned set at 100%, if not what setting is it?

In Thunderbird: Q: Have you downloaded and installed any addon extensions (with the exception of Lightning)? Q: Have you created a UserChrome.css file which sets a generic UI font size?

Please post an image showing what the Thunderbird Folder Pane and Message List look like? It would be helpful if you could include some other visual font to compare in the image. Example. Show what desktop looks like with a couple of windows open. eg:Open computer 'Settings' window and Open Thunderbird, so a couple of windows are side by side. Make sure some desktop icons are visible. You could also click on the 'Start' icon to show computer menu list. Then use the keyboard 'Prt Scr' key to get a screenshot. Open 'Paint' program and paste in the screenshot. Save file as jpg image and then post that image in the forum.

This means I can make a good comparison and understand what visual difference you are seeing in Thunderbird.
