Hello. I am new here and new to TB too. Found what I needed to make TB look the way I like, mostly from this forum... but have not found a way to eliminate the extra spaces between mails in the Thread pane. There's a lot said about getting to single spaces when writing an email, but have not found how to eliminate spaces in what I think is the Thread pane...The pane that lists emails in the inbox.

Any help would b much appreciated....Bill

Create a subfolder of the profile folder, name it chrome, then create a userChrome.css file inside the chrome folder with your text editor, and include the code posted here.

Choose 15px, 20px as you wish.

Well I found my chrome profile folder at c..users..my name..app data..local..google..chrome..user data..Default. Made a folder inside Defsult and named it Chrome..then was not sure how to proceed...so I put the code in notepad and saved it as userChrome.css I then pasted the userChrome.css file into the Chrome I had added, and ended up with another file which contained the code. I then adjusted the px number way down , closed everything, rebooted ...but no change was made in TB.... Then I tried the code in the links that you sent to me but never got anything to change.....I know it works, but I think I am not placing the added folders in the right places.....can you advise me further......thanks Bill
