Where can I find the dutch MD5 and/or SHA hash for the Thunderbird download?

I need to know if the download in https://www.thunderbird.net/nl/ is safe! (It's gonna have the passwords of a lot of email stuff on this planet!)

I see a MD5 hash code at https://filehippo .com/ download_thunderbird/ Why only at weird 'flippodippo' sites? And is the one over there in Far-Away-Y-Stan a/the legit code? (Please no reply from any Flippo hackerdude who put the false code there if you plzz.. OpenOrgs sees All, Bundy!)

I see SHA stuff in my download properties. Where can I find THAT one at the Dutch download page or over here? (Is that SHA check as good as MD5 btw?)

The only places where SHA and MD5 sumchecks should be is at the page with the download button on the pure Mozilla/Thunder sites. All other places are no good imnsho. Why is the code at Gilbraltar again and not on the site of the one who made it in a FAQ? I don't know zippozappo and have zero clue why we should thrust zappodappothrustho .ru.ch.po.bu.ge.be.usa.net checksums. (winking smiley)

Thank you both, Matt, and Sfhoves! http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/60.6.1/SHA256SUMS came up with 14 e6 1f 7b 21 c6 18 de da 76 26 e4 22 9a 79 d9 74 38 7a 1e 3c 40 21 57 75 a1 41 a4 5b ec a9 e2 win32/nl/Thunderbird Setup 60.6.1.exe which is ....oddly enough.... what I see on my pc as a result of my command line certutil -hashfile Thunderb.exe SHA256 (I had to shorten the filename; windows told me he had 4 hits to many when I did the hash command)

Why oddly? I run win64!!! :D By chance I spotted the validness of the invalid sumcheck! The one in the list tells me it should be: 9e196946538ad503ef6062853bb842c93079ba38cc99287c49bda18f7ca530af win64/nl/Thunderbird Setup 60.6.1.exe

So even as I see something checking out correct, it kinda isn't :D

I guess the 32 and 64 bit checksums are mingled up? Somebody needs to check it I guess...

Maybe the command line runs in 32 bit? (:Astouned smiley:)

As there is no official 64 bit version of Thunderbird for windows I would expect not so much a mingling as a common installer regardless of your windows "bitness"

Are you sure the Thunderbird you have is indeed Win64 and not 32-bit even though you have 64-bit Windows 7.

Note only the 32-bit version for Windows is listed on https://www.thunderbird.net/thunderbird/all/ as Win64 is not fully supported yet.

I have only downloaded it, and not installed it yet. I cannot see the version 32/46 of it, yet the site itself automatically gave me the Dutch install, so I would guess it gave me the correct bit-version too.

...strange that is...

And that would be a 32 bit version.
